Create a Custom QR Code for Print or Screen
Use the generator above to encode a website URL, short text, phone number, SMS message, or email action. Choose the content type first, enter the exact destination, then adjust size, foreground color, background color, and error-correction level. Download the PNG only after the preview represents the destination you intended.
Test the destination before placing an order
A QR image can look correct while still opening the wrong page, containing a typing error, or failing at the size used in a design. Scan the downloaded code with more than one current phone when possible. Test it from the actual file you plan to print, not only from the large generator preview. Confirm that the destination page works without your private login and is appropriate for customers.
Make the code easier to scan
Use strong contrast between the dark modules and light background. Preserve the empty quiet zone around the code and avoid placing text, a border, or another graphic against its edges. Do not stretch the code out of proportion. A larger code is usually safer when the viewer will stand farther away, the surface is curved, or the destination contains more data.
- Use a stable destination: Avoid a temporary preview URL or a page that will be removed after a campaign.
- Keep important contrast: Decorative colors should not make the code blend into its background.
- Leave breathing room: Preserve the clear margin on every side.
- Proof the final artwork: Check that no crop, trim, fold, or finishing area overlaps the code.
The tool generates the image in your browser and does not guarantee scan performance for every camera, material, size, or printing condition. For a printed piece, compare the final layout with the product's bleed and safe-area guidance, then scan a proof at approximately the intended finished size. If the link may change later, consider using a redirect URL that you control rather than printing a permanent code for a temporary destination.
